Someone said: "The maturity comes not as a Christmas gift, carefully wrapped and with a bow, left at your door. There are two scenarios by which all must pass to gain maturity: first, we must be born, and second we grow! "

This kind of belief is more than an exercise in "positive thinking" or merely "taking God for His Word." Have you ever called you dog? Many of us would have been crestfallen face of such rejection, but not this woman. "That's true, Sir" she replied, "even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the table of his master. Give me a single crumb, a small crumb of bread! "
Then came the response, and Jesus, showing what real faith:" O woman, great is your faith. Be done as you wish. "And her daughter was healed. If you define faith in terms of belief alone, this story does not fit! Christ did not take his word, she confided in him she trusts him with his life, his daughter, and their needs, and that is the true faith. Pistis, the Greek word for faith can also be translated as "belief" or "trust." True faith is to put our trust in God. The apostle Paul was a champion of the faith! But if faith is just made yourself believe that something will happen if you believe in it strongly, then Paul stayed the course. Had enough promises he could claim to be freed from the dungeon and the scaffold of the beheading.
If faith is made to believe that something will not happen because God has promised us protection, then the reformers Huss and Jerome did not pass the test. This is not merely say "believe." In our world today, there is a faith that calls cheap "only believe in Christ for salvation. No! Learning to trust in God requires a personal and ongoing relationship with a God who deserves that trust! So what is our part to fight the fight of faith? Our job is to trust (John 6:29). And that means getting to know Him who is worthy of trust, because we naturally distrust of others until we know that they are worthy confidence.
One more word: If you learn to know a person who is trustworthy, do not have to build trust. Confidence comes in the same measure to be falling in love. You do not love because he tries to love! Love comes naturally when you meet someone who can love.
5. How is the faith (trust)? Romans 10:17 ________________________

When these three young men who showed their confidence were cast into the fiery furnace, God did not put out the fire first, the act of faith comes first, and then the miracle.

Are you ready to enter under water in the order of God, knowing that there is no risk at all to obey, but to be late? There is no risk to put all his trust in Jesus. With his hand in Jesus, you are safe anywhere.
