Profundizando más: 10.1 La oración
The weather was very strange that day. The sun was shining, but a strange mist on Texas brought dismay to many pilots who came to Dallas, they could see the city, but not the airport. It was a big airport, 747 off and landing huge there, but we could not locate through the cloudy atmosphere.
"We sighting at any moment, "said the pilot. He took his radio and called the control tower. The answer was loud and clear: "Follow your course." As we continue the journey, there was increasing communication between the pilot and the tower. When last we saw the airport and the tower told us which runway to use. The plane approached smoothly, down, and eventually landed safely. A man in the tower, invisible to us at that time, led us on landing.
Like radio antennas of the plane contacted the control tower and vice versa, prayer is a powerful means of communication of God between heaven and earth. "Well, I do not know, "says one," I'm not sure that prayer is so good. I prayed once and it did not work, nobody answered. "
Perhaps we need to learn something about prayer. Why does it seem that some have answers and others do not? Many ask today: What is real prayer? Or is this just an exercise of the mind? If real, how can we ensure that we attain God when we need it? If the prayer is not enough to prevent a disaster, what is the point? Is there a "formula" that some use? Today's lesson will reveal the secrets of a prayer of success.
Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:5-15, Luke 18:1-5
When it became the first cable across the Atlantic in 1850, great celebrations erupted on both sides of the ocean, as two great continents had been joined . When sin separated heaven and earth, moved the mighty "cable" of prayer, and ever since then until now has been cut. The disciples once asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. And he did. It would be good memorizásemos the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) and often utter from the depths of our hearts. Anyway, no need to memorize all of our prayers, as the prayer is actually being in communion with God and therefore a personal and intimate experience with the Lord.
1. What is prayer
A young scientist compared the sentence with a radar, you send it to what is not, and the response bounces. In the simplest sense, prayer is open our hearts to God as a friend. It is not just asking for things. A fellowship will v10eces deep silence, a sense of God's presence. "Be still and know that I am God," suggests the Psalmist (Psalm 46:10). While on earth, Jesus lost face to face communion with God in which both had reveled in the sky. Was long in prayer, because this is how he spoke with the Father. Before sin, Adam could talk to God face to face.
When sin separated man from God, the media had to be modified. What a privilege it is to communicate with our heavenly Father through prayer at any time and under any circumstances. God wants us to open our hearts and our problems to bring you looking for your help. Discover how we talk to God that our prayers are heard and answered.

1. Do we pray to win the favor of God? Matthew 5:45
______________________________________________________________
If the Christian farmer always has good crops and bad unbelieving neighbor, the neighbor is likely to join the church, but from a selfish motive. If the Christian never gets sick, the churches would be full, the whole world profess to be Christian. If prayer give us anything we want, is not likely to end up praying for temporary benefits before sainthood? Do not would begin to take God's blessings for granted? Many are like that little boy who did not pray at the table one morning. When his father asked him why, he said: "No need to ask for bread today. I looked in the kitchen and there is enough for three days. "
2. Do we pray to show how religious we are? Matthew 6:5-7
______________________________________________________________ How Jesus calls those who pray for others to see? ______________________________________________________________
Prayer is not just repeating phrases or words. A cassette can repeat and repeat a few sentences, but can not pray. A parrot can repeat phrases, but can not pray from the heart. Are we being parrots or cassettes, or are we really praying?

For there is not a word in my tongue, and behold ... you know it all "(Psalm 139:1-4). Although God knows all of us, never get tired of going to Him in prayer. You can download our hearts on It at any time and place that you need, and always understood. Urges us not to finish, your line is always free, never "busy."

Before you pick up the hotline to heaven, know that prayer has risks. You can see yourself as it is, which can be quite traumatic. 7. Do we pray because we know that only God can help us? John 15:5

- There is an ostentatious display of piety.
- not tell God what we need, because you already know.
- There is a kind of bribe to make God help us.
- Unable to change the mind of God, but to place ourselves in harmony with God.
But it is:
- A recognition of our need and thirst for God.
- An admission that we are helpless and disabled without him

encouraging are the promises of God to those who communicate with him apparently all resources of Almighty God, hoping no impediment to the children of the heavenly King! And yet we little. It is as if a bank had given us an unlimited account where the debt load, and continue to walk instead of using a car, or shivering in a thin coat when we could wear fur coats, or be sick at home when the best private hospitals are at our disposal. "Ask and you shall receive" these are words of the Lord, the Creator, the One who governs the universe. The riches of this world are yours. Why hesitate then?

No wise father will give your child everything he wants. Sometimes you have to say "No", sometimes providing a substitute, a rubber ball Instead of scissors, a glass of juice instead of an ice cream bar. Other times I say, "Not now." We must trust in God, knowing that He loves us too much to give us something that will hurt us.

The enemy will do everything possible to stop such communion, because he knows he can not beat anyone who communicates with heaven through the habit of prayer. Prayer develops patience. We must give time to God to work. Would deadline to express trust God? It takes time to grow a rose. It takes time to change a heart. But do not give up, God will respond. Prayed to victory in Gethsemane, and in the sky "lives forever to intercede" for us (Hebrews 7:25). account of a visit to his father made his home in the land of Pennsylvania oil. Were in the store, while his father went and opened a window and asked, "Son, where are drilling?" "Nowhere," replied the boy. "Yes, they are, I can hear how they are preparing the tools now. "The child could not hear anything, so they stuck his head out the window. Very faintly in the distance, the sound of the cable said, the turning of the pulleys and gears. Then he remembered that he was drilling a well at a mile and a half away. Why did the father when he heard he could not hear? Because half of the life of his father was employed in the oil business, was accustomed to hearing such sounds. This should be every Christian, on the lookout for God's voice!
8. Why we are warned, especially at this time to pray? 1 Peter 4:7
______________________________________________________________
In these closing years of the history of this land, we need to be careful that the cares of this life do not drown our preparation for the return of our Lord. Would not you like being so close to God, that every unexpected trial their thoughts turn to Him as naturally as flowers turn to sun? The relationship between God and every person is so different and full as if there was another human being on earth on which they had to worry about, as if there were not another by which to give your beloved Son to die. Thank you, oh God, for the privilege of prayer! -------------
