9.2 The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

THIS STUDY BIBLE DOWNLOAD PDF HERE

INTRODUCTION

Before sin, God spoke directly to men (Gen. 2:16, 17). Sin changed the communication (Genesis 3:8 - 11). After the sin God used other means of connection, the most suitable for the gift of prophecy.

1. The Gift of Prophecy

1. "Through God who has spoken many times? Hebrews 1.1
"God, who at sundry times and in many ways formerly to the fathers by the prophets."

2. How God used His prophets? Amos 3:7.
"Because the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets."

3. Has God used only men as prophets?

Judges 4:4 "He ruled Israel at that time a woman, Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth.

2 Kings 22:14
"So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam Achbor Shaphan and Asaiah, the prophetess Hulda, wife of Salum son of Tikvah, son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe, she dwelt in Jerusalem in the second part of the city and spoke with her. "

Acts 21:9 "This had four unmarried daughters who prophesied."

4. What is compared prophetic word? 2 Peter 1:19.
"We have the prophetic word made more sure you will do well to heed as a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts."

2. prophetic communication modes

1. Who spoke directly to John on Patmos? Revelation 1:10, 11.
"I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and last. Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches in Asia: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea. "

2. What other ways God has spoken to the prophets? Numbers 12:6.
"And he said, Hear now my words. When among you a prophet of the Lord, him in a vision, talk to him in dreams. "

3. What vision was given to Peter? Acts 10:9 - 12.
" The next day, while they were on road and were approaching the city, Peter went to the roof to pray about the sixth hour. And he was very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they were preparing something, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and down something like a great sheet knit at the four corners was down to earth, in the which were all terrestrial quadrupeds and reptiles and birds of heaven. "

4. What prophetic dream was given to Joseph? Genesis 37:5 - 7.
"And Joseph dreamed a dream and told it his brethren: and they hated him even more. And he said, Hear now this dream I dreamed, Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold my sheaf arose and stood upright, and your sheaves gathered around and bowed to mine. "

3. What are the mission and duties of the prophet?

1. Delivering God's commands. 1 Samuel 15:1 - 3.
"Then Samuel said to Saul, the Lord sent me to anoint you king over his people Israel; A) "> ( A ) now, therefore, is attentive to the words of God. Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I will punish what Amalek did to Israel to him in the way when it came up from Egypt . Go then, and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that he has, and not spare them, kill men, women, children and suckling, cows, sheep, camels and donkeys. "

2. Report sins.
1 Samuel 15:8 - 19
"And he took Agag live the king of Amalek, but all the people killed by the sword. And Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle more, the animals fed, the lambs, and all the good, and would not destroy, but all that was vile and despicable destroyed. Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel, saying, I regret that I have set up Saul to be king, he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel, and cried to the LORD all night. Samuel rose early to go to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Caramel, and behold a monument stood and turned, and went ahead and went down to Gilgal. So he came Samuel to Saul, and Saul said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, I have performed the Jehovah. Samuel said: "Well, what bleating sheep and lowing of the oxen which I hear with my ears? And Saul said, have brought from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and oxen, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God, and the rest we have utterly destroyed. Samuel said to Saul, "Let me declare to what the Lord told me this evening. And he said Di. And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own eyes, wast thou not made chief of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel? And the Lord sent you on mission and said, Go, utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. Why Why then have not heard the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the eyes of the Lord? "

2 Samuel 12:1 - 7.
" The Lord sent Nathan to David, and coming to him, he said, were two men in one city, one rich and one poor. The rich man had many flocks and herds, but the poor man had but one lamb, which he had bought and nourished, and had grown up with him and his sons together, eating their snack and drank of his cup, and lay in his bosom, and was like a daughter. And there came a traveler unto the rich man and he spared to take of their sheep and their cattle to dress for the traveler who had come to him, but took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for him who had come to him. Then David's anger kindled greatly against the man, and said to Nathan, the Lord liveth, which hath done this thing shall surely die. And shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did so, and no mercy. Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I rescued you from the hand of Saul. "

3. Being watchmen. Ezekiel 3:17 - 21.
" Son of man, I I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel, hear, therefore hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked shall surely die and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand. But if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness and his evil way, he shall die in his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul. When the righteous turneth from his righteousness and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he will die, because you do not given him warning, die in his sin and his righteousness which he hath done shall not memory, but his blood I require at thine hand. But if thou warn the righteous not sin, and not to sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned, and thou hast delivered thy soul. "

4. Uttering sentences. 1 Samuel 15:22, 23.
" Y Samuel said: "The Lord takes pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. As the sin of divination is rebellion, and as iniquity and idolatry stubbornness. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he also has rejected you from being king. "

5. Bring about forgiveness. 2 Samuel 12:13, 14.
"David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David: The Lord also has put away your sin will not die. However, because by this deed you curse the enemies of Jehovah, the child is born to you certainly die. "

6. Prevent danger. Acts 21:10, 11.
"And we remained there some days, down from Judea a prophet named Agabus, coming to us, took Paul's belt and bound his feet and hands, said: Thus saith the Holy Spirit: This will bind the Jews Jerusalem to the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. "

7. reveal the enemy's plans. 2 Kings 6:8 - 12.
" Now the king of Syria warred against Israel, and consulting with his servants, saying In such and such place shall be my camp. And the man of God sent to the king of Israel: Behold, do not pass this place, because the Syrians are come down. And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God had said, and did so again and again to care. And the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this, and called his servants, he said: Would not you shew me which of us is the King of Israel? Then one of the servants said: No, my lord, but the prophet Elisha is in Israel, which declared the king of Israel the words that you speak in your most secret ".

8. Revealing the future. Daniel
2:28
"But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will befall you in the last days. Your dream, and visions that you had in your bed. "

Daniel 2:45" the way you saw the mountain stone was cut out without hands, that broke the iron, bronze, clay, silver and gold. The great God has shown the king what has come to pass hereafter: and the dream is true, and its interpretation. "

Daniel 7:1" In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, telling the main facts. "

9. Guide. Hosea 12:13.
" And by a prophet Jehovah brought Israel out of Egypt, and a prophet was saved "

10. Educate.
2 Kings 6:1 - 3
" The sons of the prophets said to Elisha, Behold, the place where we dwell with thee is narrow. Let us go to Jordan and take thence every man a beam, and let there where they dwell. And he said, Go. And one said, "Please go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. "

Jeremiah 29:19" For they heard my words, saith the Lord, I sent them by my servants the prophets, rising early and continuously, and you did not hear, saith the Lord ".

Jeremiah 32:33" And he turned his neck, and not the face, and when taught early and continuously, not listened to receive instruction. "

4. Possibility and danger of the false prophetic gift

1. What prediction did Jesus about false prophets? Matthew 24:24.
"For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

2. How to distinguish true from false prophets?
1. His faith in Christ. 1 John 4:3.
"And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard is coming and even now already is in the world"

2 . Fulfillment of their predictions. Deuteronomy 18:21, 22.
"And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?, If the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and not fulfilled what he said or come true, is the word that Jehovah has not spoken; spoke presumptuously that prophet, not afraid of him. "

3. Uncompromising messages. Isaiah 30:8.
"Come, now, writing this view on a table before them, and record it in a book, that is until the last day, forever and ever."

4. True love. Deuteronomy 13:1 - 3.
"If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and if the sign or wonder that he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after other gods, who did not know, and let us serve you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams: for Jehovah your God is testing you to see if you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. "

5. Fruits of his life and ministry. Matthew 7:15 - 20.
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree can not bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits ye shall know them "

5. The Gift of Prophecy in the Remnant Church

1. What would be a feature of the Remnant Church? Revelation 12:17.
"Then the dragon was wroth with the woman, and he went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

2. What is the testimony of Jesus?

Revelation 19:10 "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, do not, I am your fellow servant, and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy . "

John 15:26 "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me."

3. What is enhanced permanence of this gift in the church? Ephesians 4:11 - 14.
"And he gave some, apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all reach unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so we are no longer children, tossed about by every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men in their deceitful craftiness the wiles of error. "

4. Jehoshaphat What advice applies to Israel today? 2 Chronicles 20:20.
"And when rose in the morning, went into the wilderness of Tekoa. And as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in the Lord your God, and ye be, believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper ".

Prophetic Ministry of Ellen G. White

White Ellen Gould Harmon, was one of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church began to have visions in 1844, at the age of 17. After passing the biblical tests studied, served in ministry for 70 years until his death 1915 years.

lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, Australia. Had over 2,000 views throughout his life. Never claimed the title of prophet, but did not object to those who so named it.

Biblical tests applied to it:

1. Agrees with the Bible . His writings include biblical texts tens of thousands, without contradicting the Word of God.

2. accuracy of predictions. Not many did, some are being met and others are to be fulfilled, but fulfilled and have done so with amazing accuracy.

2.1. The rise of modern Spiritualism. In 1890, spiritualism was decidedly anti-Christian, had just emerged. Ellen White said it would grow significantly by identifying it with one of the deceptions of the past days and that would be respectable in recent days. (PE p. 59)

2.2. Cooperation between Protestants and Catholics. During the life of Ellen White, was a gulf between Catholics and Protestants, including anti-Catholicism was important. Predicted changes in Protestantism that come close to both positions. Today it is famous ecumenical movement, World Council of Churches and Vatican Council II. (CS p. 628, 642).

2.3. Scientific facts before being believed and tested.
2.3.1. In 1884 he said that 9 / 10 part of the evil among children and young people are caused by poor diet (C Masters p. 411). This was confirmed in an article in Cambio 16 N ยบ 457 of 07.09.1980 blaming a lack of vitamins, taken from the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

2.3.2. In 1865 he wrote that sunlight would enter homes and clean air. That was contrary to what was believed then (MS II p. 527). Some eighty years later, Dr. Lawrence P. Garrod, a professor of bacteriology at the University of London, said in the British Medical Journal 1:247, 1944, that sunlight kills bacteria, and is beneficial in the rooms.

2.3.3. In 1901 he wrote: "I am taking a little salt, and I always do, because by the light God has given me, I know ... is actually essential for the blood, I do not know the reason of it, but I give the instruction as given to me "(C Food p. 410). Science has given the reason, the amount of 5 gr. daily is recommended for healthy adults, and more consumption is harmful (The Book of Health p. 599).

2.3.4. In 1844 and 1905 said that excess salt was harmful and the use of pickles and spices (C Food p. 411). Today no one doubts the relationship between them and hypertension.

2.3.5. In 1869 Ellen White wrote about electric currents in the brain: "Anything that interferes the flow of electric current in the nervous system, thus weakening the vital powers and diminishing mental sensitivity, creates more difficulties to raise the moral nature "(Ed p. 209). In 1929 Hans Berger, a German psychiatrist, began publishing a small strange photographs consisting of wavy lines. The man claimed that they were electric currents. Since then, science is not in doubt, and now known as EEG.

2.3.6. In 1868 he warned about the danger of disease and even sudden death if fat used in significant quantities (C Food topic of "Grease"). Only a century later, in 1960 the American Heart Association began to recommend reducing dietary fat, especially saturated fat, to reduce the risk of heart attacks.

2.3.7. In 1865 Ellen White spoke about prenatal influences on the fetus. Underlined this idea in subsequent years, in his Healing Ministry 1905. In scientific circles refused this fact almost universal until 1954, when it completed a study on prenatal influence, work done by Dr. Ashley Montague, (Ladies' Home Journal, February 1954 p. 43) in the following practically the reasoning by Ms. White.

4. Recognition Christ's incarnation . Ellen White wrote extensively about Christ as Lord and Savior, His atoning sacrifice and work of intercession. His books are known Desire of Ages, Steps to Christ, Mount of Blessing and Christ's Grand Master.

5. The influence of his ministry . The church and the lives of those who followed his advice, reveal the impact of his life and message. Encouraged the establishment of publishers, schools, medical missionary work and global missionary outreach of the Adventist Church makes one of the largest Protestant missionary organizations and higher growth. His literary output includes more 80 books, 200 tracts and booklets and 4,600 articles published in various newspapers. His sermons, journals, special testimonies and letters include another 60,000 pages of manuscript material.

6. The Bible is the supreme rule. The founders of the Adventist Church's doctrines did not get through Ellen White, but its core beliefs developed through the study of the Bible. She would only confirm the correct conclusions to which they had come through the study. She believed and taught that the Bible is the supreme law of the Church, never intended to put his writings over or even the same height as the Word of God (PE p. 78).

7. His writings led to the Bible. "The Word of God sufficient to enlighten the mind more obscured, and can be understood by those who have a desire to understand. But nevertheless, some who profess to study the Word of God are in direct opposition to its plainest teachings. Then, to make men and women without excuse, God gives clear evidence and marked, in order to bring them back to the Word who have not followed "(2JT p. 279).

8. His writings clarify the Bible. "There are additional truths trotted out, but God has been simplified through the testimonies of the great truths and testimonies given ... writings are not to give new light, but to impress vividly upon the heart the truths of inspiration already revealed "(JT 2 p. 280, 281)

Because God has sent a prophet in every moment of crisis in the history of this world, and being at the gates of the return of Christ, would ignore the prophecies that he gave in Revelation and leave the world without a chance to be notified? " will do nothing the Lord God, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets " Amos 3:7. -------------

9.1 FURTHER STUDY: the unpardonable sin.

THIS STUDY BIBLE DOWNLOAD PDF HERE

A large block of ice with a calf's body had fallen, and floated into the Niagra River cataracts. An eagle circled overhead. Down and stood over the dead animal, hoping to feast. The ice block was getting closer and closer to the falls, but the eagle was not afraid. He knew his powerful wings in flight would in due course. On the shore a group of winter tourists held their breath as the ice began to spin in the strong current. Why not forget the calf and the eagle fly? A few seconds before the fatal fall, the big bird began to flap their wings to fly away, they were going to get out of this dangerous situation. But this time they were powerless. The eagle did not realize that its claws were glued to the ice and could not escape. As the crowd watched on the shore in silence, helpless eagle wings frantically beat again, to no avail. Eagle ice and crashed and broke up in the rocks below.

The saddest spectacle in the world sadder than the tragic and unnecessary fate of the eagle, is the man or woman who has committed the unpardonable sin. Perhaps the saddest verse in the Bible, is in the Lamentations of Jeremiah on the status of Israel's sin: "The harvest is past, summer ended, and we have not been saved" (Jeremiah 8:20). Many people is confused about the unpardonable sin. There has been much speculation on the subject. How do we make? How to know if we have already committed?

1. What did the apostle John to sin that is so terrible that God can not forgive? 1 John 5:16

_________________________________________________________________ 2. What sin did Jesus could not forgive? Matthew 12:31, 32

_________________________________________________________________ One thing that God ever made, and is chosen by us. The sky and chose to pay the highest price possible (Jesus) so that the maximum power possible (Holy Spirit) were with us. But each person must choose their own destiny. If we follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we shall be saved, if we do not, we are lost. Due to the importance of work and the role of the Holy Spirit, whom the unpardonable sin has to do, Let's consider first.

1. Who is the Holy Spirit?

1. Who is closely associated with the Holy Spirit? Matthew 28:19, 1 John 5:7

_________________________________________________________________ 2. After the baptism of Jesus, how the Spirit manifested Ghost? Matthew 3:16, 17

_________________________________________________________________ 3. Who is the Holy Spirit? John 16:13-15
_________________________________________________________________

The Holy Spirit is God's representative on earth. The nature of the Spirit of God is a mystery. Some put together some passages of Scripture and build their own human ideas about them, but the acceptance of those views do not strengthen the Christian. Regarding such mysteries, silence is golden. The human Jesus could only be in one place at once. The Holy Spirit is everywhere at once. "It is expedient that I go," said Jesus (John 16:7), because that would send the Spirit with a special power to be with his children around the world at a time.

2. What is the work of the Holy Spirit?

1. What three things does the Holy Spirit? John 16:8 "And convince the world of ___________ of ____________________ and ___________________".

"Whatever is not of faith is sin" (Romans 14:23). Given that there is no salvation outside of Christ (Acts 14:12), not believing in Him is sin in the deepest sense. No wonder that John draws attention specially to the Holy Spirit convinced that Jesus is indeed our Savior.

Justice is "doing what is right." The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, and sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4), therefore, the Spirit sustains the fairness and immutable law of the One whose life is guided by the principles of the Ten commandments, live a life of righteousness.

There is another aspect involved in this passage about justice (John 16:10). "Of righteousness, because I go unto the Father, and ye see me no more." What does Jesus see go to the Father, with justice? The English translation Living Bible renders it this way: "Justice is accessible, because I go to the Father." Jesus has ascended to His Father, where He intercedes for those who accept Him as Savior (Hebrews 7:25, 9:24). Paul says, "reign in life by one, Jesus Christ, those who receive the abundance and the gift of righteousness ... the same way by the righteousness of one came upon all men unto justification of life" (Romans 5:17, 18). What a thought! What a gift! Not only did Jesus pay our penalty of death on the cross, in addition, in His sinless life here on earth, won the right to give us His perfect life as a gift. God, literally, to Jesus "was made sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" \u200b\u200b(2 Corinthians 5:21).

2. How many will appear at the trial? 2 Corinthians 5:10
_________________________________________________________________

If the world must be judged, if Satan and the fallen angels have to be judged (Jude 6), "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation" (Hebrews 2 : 2, 3). The trial is closely related to the Law of God. "So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty "(James 2:12). God has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man who appointed "(Acts 17:31). Spirit is the job of impressing the truth in the minds of men, so that each be responsible, be accountable to God one day.

3. What other name is called the Holy Spirit? John 14:16
_________________________________________________________________

If we cast on the mercy of God and completely abandoned to His will, His Holy Spirit will comfort our hearts overwhelmed.

4. "By whom one born in the family of God? John 3:5
_________________________________________________________________

transfer Adam's family to the family of God, is what is called "new birth." "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave power to become children of God" (John 1:12). This new life is more than a modification or improvement of the old life of sin, is actually a transformation of nature. With the ego and sin dead now, a new life in Christ begins. This transformation can only be made by the Holy Spirit.

5. Who dwells the Holy Spirit? John 14:17

_________________________________________________________________ 6. What other functions exercised by the Holy Spirit? Romans 8:26
_________________________________________________________________

Since the Spirit dwells in us, knows all our needs. Being a member of the Godhead, he also knows how to present our cases in the sky.

To consider: Many people are embarrassed to pray in front of others, saying "can not pray with pretty words." How can this verse help us in this regard? ____________________________________ ___________

7. What other important work does the Holy Spirit?
John 16:13 "And I ___________________________________________ truth."

Romans 8:14 "For all who are
___________________________, _______________________________
are sons of God."

not receive the whole truth at once (John 16:12). The names of Wycliffe, Huss, Jerome, Luther, Knox, Calvin, Wesley, and many others shine in the pages of history, recalling the eradication of error and the advancement of truth. Unfortunately, many stood in the footsteps of those men and followed no further.

When the pilgrims were about to board the May flower to undertake the historic voyage to the New World, met on the shores of Holland with friends who stayed. Their pastor, John Robinson, spoke these words of farewell, we all do well to hear: "Brothers ... I ask before the Lord and his holy angels who did not follow me beyond what I have followed Christ. If God reveals anything else with his other instrument, be as ready to welcome you as if you were to receive truth through my ministry, I am convinced that the Lord has more truth and light that still show their Santa Word. " God does not make us responsible for the "light" we do not own, but holds us accountable for what we have or could have had if we had taken every opportunity to know his will (John 9:41, Matthew 13:15) .

8. What else will help the Holy Spirit? John 14:26

_________________________________________________________________ 9. Who gives us power to witness for Christ? Acts 1:8

_________________________________________________________________ "I spent five years on the summit," said one man, a famous preacher. "How many winning souls for Christ? "asked the man of God. The other confessed he did not win. The reply was: "That's not the kind of peak experience we need." Christians should want to do more than just believing in Christ are called to be His witnesses to an unbelieving world.

10. Who seals our redemption? Ephesians 4:30
_________________________________________________________________

The Spirit is the seal, is the agent who sealed with the seal of God (Revelation 7:30). In another lesson we will learn more about this seal of God. You can appreciate the roles of the Spirit as we are going to review:

1.Convence the man of sin. 2.Convence
man of justice.
man 3.Convence trial.
4.Hace Comforter work.
5.Produce the new birth.
6.More in the heart of all who have accepted Jesus.
7.Intercede by man. 8.Guรญa
man.
9.Enseรฑa the man and remembers things.
10.Da power to witness for Jesus. 11.Sella
man until the day of redemption.

3. What is sin against the Holy Spirit?

1. What kind of sin compared David "The Great Rebellion"? Psalm 19:13
_________________________________________________________________

presumptuous sin is deliberately choosing our own way instead of God, and then boast that he does not care. It is dangerous to take such a thing, because God is good but not forgive sin in all circumstances. The experiences of Nadab and Abihu (Leviticus 10:1, February) and the birthright of Esau (Genesis 25:29-34, 27:30-40, Hebrews 12:16, 17), Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5: 1-11), and the people in the days Noah (Genesis 6:3-7) show us how God feels when someone deliberately abused his goodness and mercy.

2. In what ways can you commit the unpardonable sin?
a) 1 John 1:9
_________________________________________________________________

without confessing a sin is a sin without pardon, and only those who confess their sin and leaving mercy (Proverbs 28:13). Just as no sin is too great to be forgiven, no sin, however small, can be forgiven if you confess sincerely.

b) Hebrews 2:3
_________________________________________________________________

However good the intentions, if we reject persistent appeals of the Spirit of God, we enter dangerous territory. Being careless with the truth is to reject the truth. For many people, "tomorrow" never comes.

c) John 12:35 "Walk while ye have light,

_________________________ What is Light? "Lamp to my feet to your word, and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105). "Your word is truth" (John 17:17). Therefore, light is the truth. While studying the Word of God (the truth as in Jesus, Ephesians 4:21), the Holy Spirit impresses us to follow. What gives high value to the true God! Do you realize that those who perish, because they will never develop "love of truth to be saved? (2 Thessalonians 2:10). God wants all men to be saved and come to know the truth "(1 Timothy 2:4), but not everyone chooses to follow the truth. And the truth is not obeyed, quickly turns into darkness (John 12:35).

3. Will it work indefinitely the Spirit in us? Genesis 6:3 _________________________________________________________________

may get used both the voice of the Spirit, we harden. Suppose that ignores the alarm clock, how long would it take to not hear it? Our hearts are very sensitive to the Spirit of God when he speaks for the first time, but if we refuse to hear, his voice gradually becomes a whisper in the end do not hear at all.

see, the unpardonable sin is not a specific sin that is tied to our life. It is a condition that reached to resist the Spirit of God. When a man makes a mistake for the first time, you feel guilty and conscience is remembered, but the more committed the error, unless you feel embarrassed until I see it as sin at all.

4. Can a man know if he committed the unpardonable sin?

1. What kind of people will think you are saved, but they really lost? Matthew 7:21-24
_________________________________________________________________

These people are Christians. They call Jesus Lord. They even do miracles in His name! But never developed "love of truth." Were "religious", but never bothered to seek the will of Christ, and if they did, they assumed that their good works and miracles set the seal of approval of God in their lives, obey or not its word. "Why call me Lord, Lord and not do what I say? "(Luke 6:46). This is an excellent question for ourselves.

2. How can a person be sure he knows the will of God? John 7:17 "And whosoever __________________________________________, know of the doctrine is of God."

What a promise! If we decide to do the will of God no matter what others do or think, no matter the ridicule or persecution, or if we lose friends, family or life itself, Jesus promises that responsibility will not be fooled. From the other hand, this implies that if we are unwilling to the Lord be one hundred percent, if the lifestyle that asks us not fit with our plans, then we are paving the way for the unpardonable sin. One must first establish that will follow the will of the Lord in every particular as it reveals. You can then claim that wonderful promise.

Jesus said: "He that cometh to me I will never drive away" (John 6:37). The man who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior by faith, confessing their sins and surrendering completely to the will of God, you know he has not committed the unpardonable sin. If not come to Jesus, should also know that is in grave danger of committing it. Like Jesus' death for all "(Hebrews 2:9). Still, many will not benefit from the death of Christ, not to pay attention to the kind called, persistent movements of the Holy Spirit.

One word. If you have the desire to follow Jesus, yet did not sin against the Holy Ghost, and that this desire itself is the Holy Spirit working in his heart. -------------

9.1 THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

THIS STUDY BIBLE DOWNLOAD PDF HERE

INTRODUCTION

Agent spiritual life is the Holy Spirit. Without their presence would be authentic spiritual bodies.

1. The Vicar of Christ on Earth

1. Who Jesus promised to send and what would you do?

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name he shall teach you all things and remind you all that I said unto you. "

John 14:16 - 17
" I will pray the Father, and give them another Comforter to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth, whom the world can not receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. "

Note: The word "other" (Greek allos "in this verse," Allon ") indicates that God would send" another "Comforter in the same capacity as a substitute for it class, being or matter, an equal. This shows us that Jesus is also Comforter. Only someone can replace Jesus, so that we could not understand that the Holy Spirit is "something" instead of someone. Had it done so, could not have used "another" (allos) in the same capacity.

2. "About who would witness the Holy Spirit?
John 15:26 "But when the Comforter is come, whom I shall send to the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me ."

2. The Holy Spirit gives life

1. What is the natural state of man? Ephesians 2:1.
"And you He made alive, who were dead when in trespasses and sins."

2. How can a man be born again? John 3:5 - 8.
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit can not enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every who is born the Spirit. "

Note: Only through the Holy Spirit work in our minds through consciousness, as we become new people with new values, character and priorities.

3. How are we saved? Titus 3:5, 6.
"He saved us not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. "

Note: The Holy Spirit renews us. Do not think that this is something "Magic" but a question of the relationship. Many times we received a visit at a sensitive time in our lives, and we feel better, chilled. Similarly, having a relationship with God (reading the Bible and praying) we communicate with the Holy Spirit, and influences our lives, giving us new strength and encouragement. There is a saying that reflects this spiritual truth: "Tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are." If we walk with God, we will be renewed, transformed its image by the Holy Spirit.

3. The Holy Spirit sanctifies us

1. Who should dwell in us, not to walk according to the meat? Romans 8:1, 8, 9.
"And now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit ... and those who are in the flesh can not please God. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. And if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, is not it. "

2. What is called our body?
1 Corinthians 6:19, 20
"Know ye not that your body is a temple the Holy Spirit, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and your spirit which are God's "

1 Corinthians 3:16" Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? "

3. How we are transformed into the image of God? 2 Corinthians 3:18.
" But we all, with open face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord , are changed from glory to glory in the same picture as the Spirit of the Lord. "

Note: Contemplating God we are transformed (by imitation) How? Reading the Word of God daily, as we have seen before.

4. The Holy Spirit and the preaching of the Gospel

1. Who would come upon the believers to be witnesses of Jesus? Acts 1:8.
"But you shall receive power when the Holy you the Holy Spirit, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

2. What happened to the disciples at Pentecost? Acts 2:4.
"And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. "

5. How to receive the Holy Spirit?

1. What gave Simon the magician to receive the Holy Spirit and what Peter answered him? Acts 8:14 - 20.
"When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John, who, having come down, prayed for them to receive the Holy Ghost was not yet come upon any of them, but had only been baptized in the name of Jesus. Then they laid their hands, and they received the Holy Spirit. When Simon saw that through laying on of hands of the apostles the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, "Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit. Then Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God with money. "

Note: can not buy with money the gift of the Holy Spirit. God wants to free all world, however, a bad perception of it, can lead to incorrectly understand the reason of it, our salvation.

2. What condition is essential to meet the Holy Spirit? Acts 2:38.
"Peter replied Repent and be baptized each of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

3. What other condition is necessary? Acts 5:32.
"And we are witnesses of these things, and also the Holy Ghost, whom God has given to who obey him."

Note: Obedience is the sine qua non. Obviously God does not give gifts to misappropriate use.

4. How do you receive the Holy Spirit? Galatians 3:14.
"For in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit."

5. Who will be given the Holy Spirit? Luke 11:13.
"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to you ask him?"

6. Evidence for the presence of the Holy Spirit

1. How do we know that God lives in us? 1 John 3:24.
"And he that keepeth his commandments, remains in God and God in him. And we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit has given us. "

2. What do you enjoy the one with the Holy Spirit? Romans 14:17.

3. What fruits are manifested in your life? Galatians 5:22, 23.

4. How can we know that already belong to the family of God? Romans 8:14, 16.
"For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God ... The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God."

Note: The Holy Spirit gives us that security through awareness.

5. Who seals us?

Ephesians 1:13 "In him you also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having believed, ye were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit."

Ephesians 4:30 "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. "

Note: A work is finished and sealed to keep" intact "(for the 2 nd coming of Jesus).

6. What is the warranty (or deposit) of our inheritance?
Ephesians 1:13, 14
"In him you also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory. "

2 Corinthians 1:22 "Who also has sealed us and given us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts."

2 Corinthians 5:5 "He who prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the earnest of the Spirit." -------------

THIS STUDY BIBLE DOWNLOAD PDF HERE

INTRODUCTION

Jesus instituted a Church to which he loves, and where you want everything to be done to order, under an efficient organization.

1. The Church of Christ

1. What is the Church in relation to Christ? Colossians 1:24.
"Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill in my flesh is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for his body , which is the church. "

2. How is also called the Church? 1 Timothy 3:15.

"For God is not God confusion but of peace. As in all churches of the saints. "

1 Corinthians 11:16 "With all that, if anyone wants to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God."

Note: in the church as a body, or in a marriage, there must be coordination, mutual service, mutual love and respect. Not fit the confusion, disorder, disorganization or lack of coordination, among other issues. As a body can walk through the coordination and balance of all its members, the church needs the organization to its best performance.

2. In the Church, how everything must be done? 1 Corinthians 14:40.
"but ask yourself everything decently and in order."

3. Need

Organization 1. For the responsibility of leading the people of Israel should cede all about Moses, what advice his father gave Jethro? Exodus 18:21 - 22.
"And pick you out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness, and place them on the people and rulers of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. They judge the people at all times, and every great matter they will bring to you, and every small matter they shall judge. thus relieving the burden on you, and take them with you. "

Note: This is one of the greatest examples of coordination and organization Congregationalist, a larger scale.

2. How many first apostles ordered Christ to preach the gospel? Mark 3:14.
"He appointed twelve, to be with him, and sent them to preach."

3. How many disciples later appointed to the job? Luke 10:1.

2 Corinthians 5:20.
" So, we ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. "

3. What was considered Paul as a minister?

1 Corinthians 9:16 "For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me, and woe to me if I preach not the gospel!"

Luke 1:2 "as taught us that from the beginning what they saw with their eyes, and ministers were a word. "

Note: The text of Luke, although it refers to life Jesus (Gospel of Luke), in verse 1 shows a compilation made for Theophilus, so that certainly would include among others, Paul among those who "from the beginning what they saw with their eyes."

4. What was also seen Paul minister? Colossians 1:24 - 25.
"Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for his body, which is the church, which was made a minister , the administration of God I was given to you, to fulfill the word of God. "

5. What other name given to those who minister in the church? Hebrews 13:7, 17.
"Remember your shepherds, who spoke the word of God, considering what was the result of their conduct, imitate their faith [...] Obey your pastors, and submit to them, for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account to do so with joy and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. "

Note: The pastors are part of the organization established by the Lord to his Church.

4. " What will be the reward for faithful ministry of the Gospel? 1 Peter 5:2 - 4.
"Feed the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly, not as being lords over those entrusted to your care, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd, you will receive the crown of glory. "
