INTRODUCTION.
The Lord's Supper is not merely a symbolic ceremony. It gives an encounter with Jesus, under the conditions that this event is possible from his ascension until his second coming, that is, by his Holy Spirit.
This fellowship is a continuing need for the Christian life. It is the reason why the baptism ceremony of the new birth, is celebrated only once, while the sacrament, the sanctification ceremony is held following the example of the early Christians (Acts 2:42), frequently.
1. Institution of the sacrament.
1. By whom was instituted?
1 Corinthians 11:23 - 25.

Likewise also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me. "
2. When?
1 Corinthians 11:23.
"I received the Lord that which also I delivered unto you May the Lord Jesus, the night he was betrayed, took bread."
2. Celebration.
1. What happened before the celebration?
John 13:1 - 5.
"Before the feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that his time had come to pass from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved to the end. And when supper, the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, Jesus knew that the Father had given all things into his hands, and had come from God, and God was, he rose from supper and laid aside his garments, and wrapped a towel around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. "
Note: Some churches hold foot washing mutual among participants, showing humility like Jesus did before Passover.
2. What order does Jesus give about the washing of feet?
John 13:14, 15.
"If I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash the feet of one another. For example I have given, that as I have done, you also should do. "

Note: The bread, as it was then, and symbolizing the breaking of the body of Jesus to be crucified should be split. Not met and in some events where wafers are distributed spon not games.
5. What is the second?
Matthew 26:27, 28.
"And he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave them, saying," Drink from it, all this is my blood of the covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins. "

Exodus 12:19.
"For seven days no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened, stranger or a native of the country, will be cut off from the congregation of Israel."
Note: The original word translated as leavening is "fermented". The leaven or yeast is a symbol of sin, and was forbidden from taking any fermented or leavened food during the week before and day of Easter.
7. How the Apostle Paul called Christ?
1 Corinthians 5: 6 to 8.
"No Your glorying is good. Know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened, for our passover is Christ, was sacrificed for us. So the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. "
Note: Paul also mentioned again the symbolic meaning of fermentation, calls Jesus "our Passover", ie, the Lamb sent by God to celebrate Easter or sacrifice in place of man.

Matthew 26:29.
"I tell you not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew with you in the kingdom of my Father."

Note: Pedro, like the other disciples had been baptized by John the Baptist. In any case, the washing of feet is a reminder of baptism, a reset of our sins, small new beginnings and a renewal of the baptismal covenant with God.

7. What are transported glorious day when we celebrate our thoughts Sacrament?
1 Corinthians 11:26.
"So every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."

8. When celebrating the Lord's Supper with Jesus?
Matthew 26:29 "And I say that will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father. "
9. What other anticipated dinner?
Revelation 19:9.
" And the angel said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the supper of wedding of the Lamb. And I said: These are the true sayings of God. "
Note: why it can also be called" Eucharist, "ie" thanksgiving "to God to save us and make us share in that great dinner that is still come.

1 Corinthians 11:27 - 29.

But let every man examine himself, and so eat the bread and drink of the cup. he who eats and drinks without discerning the Lord's body, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself. "
Note: Many do not want to participate in this warning. What really highlighted this text is the importance and seriousness of understanding the meaning of the ritual and symbols. Anyone who has really understood the importance of the ceremony and the meaning of it and its symbols, is welcome to participate. -------------
